ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
NASA invites students from the classes of 2013, 2014 and 2015 to the
NASA Lunabotics Mining Competition STEM College Recruitment Fair
Date: Friday, May 24, 2013
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Place: Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
NASA is hosting a college recruitment event focused on connecting high school sophomore, juniors and seniors with Science, Technology, and Engineering education opportunities. Participants will get to:
Meet with 30+ universities and colleges
Learn about the different STEM majors at some of the top universities across the state and the country.
Meet one-on-one with NASA Scientists
Get personalized advice on educational and professional career paths from the actual people working at the NASA Kennedy Space Center in the fields of: Aerospace, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology (IT), Life Sciences, Materials, Mining, Robotics, Structural Engineering, and other fields.
Enter into a drawing for a $500 scholarship
All students who attend the college recruitment fair and complete a participation passport will be entered into a drawing for a college scholarship. A total of fourteen $500 scholarships ($7,000 total) will be awarded on-site at the event.

The college recruitment fair is being hosted by the NASA Lunabotics Mining Competition, which challenges colleges and universities from around the world to build robots capable of excavating lunar soil.
